As a professional furniture maker with nearly 20 years of experience, I am excited to share this love I have for woodworking and creating.
GROUP SESSIONS -
WORKSHOP EXPERIENCE DAYS
Join us for a group session where you will produce a small piece of furniture out of solid hardwood that you get to take away (e.g., a small side table, stool or a plant stand).
We will start with the basics of timber properties and grain direction. You will get to use some basic hand tools like hand planes, marking gauges, spokeshaves and Japanese hand saws, along with some power tools like routers and drills, and possibly some larger workshop machines like a bandsaw, table saw and surface planer. You will learn how to plane timber effectively and efficiently, mark and cut joints accurately, along with some basic sanding and finishing skills. At the end of the session, you will be able to take home a beautiful, handmade piece of furniture that you will be truly proud of.

What it includes
All materials will be provided along with tea, coffee, snacks, and a delicious vegetarian lunch.
Cost
Group of 3 or 4 - £120 per person
You can book an individual spot or as a whole group.
Group of 2 - £180 per person
This size class is aimed at 2 friends or 2 family family members booking together and getting a little more out of the day.

1:1 TUITION SESSIONS
These sessions are tailored to your specific needs, whether you are a beginner looking to jump right in with 1:1 tuition, an experienced woodworker looking to hone your skills with advice, or someone with a project in mind but lacking the space, tools, or know-how to bring it to life. I am here to help, and we will work together to create a course that meets your goals and maximizes your learning.

Cost
1 full day 1:1 tuition - £300 plus materials
2 full days 1:1 tuition - £550 plus materials
As these sessions are personalised, the price of materials is not included in the session fee. However, we will calculate this cost during our meeting before booking. You are also welcome to bring your own materials and timber.
